「ワールドサッカーウイニングイレブン アーケードチャンピオンシップ 2008」今週末本格稼働

　KONAMIは、今週末より前作を大幅に上回る設置店舗にて、アーケード版「ワールドサッカーウイニングイレブン アーケードチャンピオンシップ 2008」の本格的稼働を開始する。

　本作は、プレイステーション 2用コントローラに対応、全国の店舗をネットワークでつないだオンライン対戦、選手を獲得しチームを強化できる「オンラインリーグ」モード搭載といった前作の要素をそのままに、応酬クラブ126チームを収録し、アイコンチャットシステムを搭載、前作「WE2006AC」からのデータ引き継ぎが可能という特徴を持っている。

　イタリア、フランス、スペインなど、欧州5大リーグをはじめとするヨーロッパの強豪クラブが収録されている本作には、ナショナルチームとあわせて、収録チーム合計180チーム以上という超ボリュームアップを実現している。

　なお、4月28日には本作最初の全国公式オンライン大会も開催予定となっている（全国大会の参加には、e-AMUSEMENT PASSが必要）。
