「ウイイレ」世界大会の国内代表選抜大会、8月23日より開催

日本のみならず、ヨーロッパにもファンが多い「ウイイレ」シリーズ。その世界大会が、9月にスペイン・マジョルカ島で開催され、日本代表を決める戦いも8月23日からスタートする。

　KONAMIは、同社のサッカーゲーム「ウイニングイレブン」シリーズの世界大会「PES/WE 2010 World Finals」を今秋ロッパにて開催。日本代表を決めるための国内代表選抜大会を8月23日よりスタートさせる。

　「PES/WE 2010 World Finals」は、昨年までヨーロッパ選手権として開催されてきた「PES EUROPA FINALS」を世界大会へグレードアップしたもので、名称も海外向けタイトル「PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER」と日本国内タイトル「WINNING ELEVEN」を合わせたものとなっている。世界大会は、9月25日よりスペイン・マジョルカ島で開催され、国内代表の選考はオンライン予選と日本代表選抜大会の2段階で行われる。

　オンライン予選は、8月23日〜29日の期間で行われ、プレイステーション 3版「ワールドサッカー ウイニングイレブン 2010」「ワールドサッカー ウイニングイレブン 2010 蒼き侍の挑戦」の2タイトルで参加可能。そして、オンライン予選通過者が日本代表を賭けて戦う本戦が9月4日に東京・六本木のKONAMI本社で開催される。なお、大会への参加資格は以下の通りで、応募方法および大会ルールの詳細については後日公式サイトにてアナウンスされるとのこと。

• 日本在住で現在20歳以上であること
• 日本代表選考・本戦(9月4日)、世界大会(9月23日〜27日)に参加可能なこと
• 現在パスポートを所有、または9月4日までに用意できること

※日本代表選考会参加の交通費、 世界大会参加への交通費および宿泊費はKONAMIが負担する。
