KONAMIのアーケード版「WORLD SOCCER Winning Eleven 2006 ARCADE CHAMPIONSHIP」では、第2回となる公式大会「アジア・オセアニアカップ2006」を10月16日から開催する。
この大会はアジア・オセアニアに所属するナショナルチーム限定の大会。7月末より実施された第1回大会では、日本および香港から数多くのプレイヤーが参加。香港から出場したモウリーヨさんが見事に優勝した。第2回大会では日本のプレーヤーの巻き返しを期待したいところだ。
