イーフロンティアとズーは、PCゲーム「Best Selection of GAMES」シリーズとして「エンパイア・アースII 日本語版」と「F.E.A.R. 日本語版」の2タイトルを、2008年1月25日に発売する。価格は両タイトルともに3990円。
プレーヤーは軍事・経済・帝国の3つのカテゴリに分かれたテクノロジーを研究し、自分の文明を次の時代へ進めていくことが必要になる。時代を進めるごとに、強力な兵器や新しい技術を開発・使用することができるようになる。
紀元前1万年の原始時代から中世、近代を経て、最終的には23世紀の近未来まで15の時代が登場。文明は日本を含む14種類を用意しており、日本であれば、「侍」、「忍者」、「ゼロ戦」といったユニークユニットなど、文明ごとにそれぞれの特徴がある。
チュートリアルの4つのミッションに加え、3つの国をテーマにしたそれぞれ8本のミッションで構成されるキャンペーンを収録。このほか、中国の三国時代をテーマにしたシングルシナリオなど、豊富なミッションを収録されている。

軍と共同で様々な研究を行なっているATC社。ある日、このATC社で生み出された指揮官フェッテルは突如として暴走し、施設の警備員を虐殺してしまう。
主人公は事態の収拾のため、First Encounter Assault Recon（F.E.A.R.／第一種遭遇強襲偵察部隊）のメンバーとして現場へ配属される。彼がそこで体験するものは想像を絶するものだった……。
敵兵はほかの部隊と連携を取り合ったり、建物の構造を利用して、プレーヤーに気づかれないよう背後へ回り込んで攻撃を仕掛けてきたりと、あらゆる手段を駆使してプレーヤーに襲い掛かって来る。
