マイクロソフトは、Xbox 360用ソフト「Mass Effect（マスエフェクト）」の発売日を、5月21日に決定したと発表した。価格は7140円（税込）。
Mass Effectは、「ネヴァーウィンター・ナイツ」シリーズや「Star Wars：Knights of the Old Republic」などを手がけたBioWareが開発したSFアクションRPG。プレイヤーは主人公シェパードとなって、精鋭部隊とともに銀河を巡り、終末を迎えつつある宇宙の謎とその真実をつきとめていくことになる。
