「FIFA 11」欧米発売初週で260万本の販売を達成

　エレクトロニック・アーツは同社のサッカーゲーム「FIFA11（日本版タイトル: FIFA 11ワールドクラスサッカー）」が、欧米で発売から1週間で260万本を販売。スポーツゲーム史上最速で1億5千万ドルの売上を達成したと発表した。

　「FIFA 11」は北米で9月28日、ヨーロッパでは10月1日に発売を開始。両地域をあわせ10月2日までに260万本を売り上げ、同社調べによると、イギリス、フランス、イタリア、スペイン、北米を含む世界各国でスポーツゲーム史上最速となる初週売上を達成したとのこと。また、ヨーロッパでは発売後2日間でオンライン利用が1130万セッションに達し、EA SPORTのゲームとしては史上最大のアクセス数となっている。

　なお、日本版の「FIFA 11ワールドクラスサッカー」はプレイステーション 3/Xbox 360/PSP向けが10月21日に同時発売予定となっている。
