エレクトロニック・アーツは、プレイステーション 3／プレイステーション 2／PSP／Xbox 360向けソフト「NBA ライブ 09」を10月23日に発売すると発表した。
NBA ライブは、北米4大スポーツリーグのひとつであるNBAを気軽に楽しめるバスケットボールゲームシリーズ。その最新作となるNBA ライブ 09には、NBA所属の30チームに加え、FIBAバスケットボール世界選手権に出場した世界24カ国のナショナルチームが収録されており、日本代表チームも実名で登場する。また、1試合通してひとりの選手を操作する「BE A PROモード」（PS3／PS2／Xbox 360版のみ）など、新たなモードを搭載している。
