「Project GT5」第1弾始動！ 「グランツーリスモ 5 プロローグ」発売日決定

ソニー・コンピュータエンタテインメントジャパンは、「グランツーリスモ 5 プロローグ」の発売を発表、販売形態などを公開した。

　ソニー・コンピュータエンタテインメントジャパンは、プレイステーション 3用ソフト「グランツーリスモ 5 プロローグ」をBlu-ray Disc版とPLAYSTATION Storeからのダウンロード版の2つの形態で12月13日（木）に同時発売すると決定した。なお、10月20日より「グランツーリスモ 5 プロローグ体験版」の無料ダウンロード配信をPLAYSTATION Storeにて行う。

　この「グランツーリスモ 5 プロローグ体験版」には配信当初は覆面を施されたGT-Rがプレイ可能なのだが、10月24日から幕張メッセで開催される「第40回東京モーターショー2007’」（一般公開は10月27日から）において日産自動車の発表を受け、新型GT-Rの全容が明らかにあるという。さらに、新型GT-R以外にも当日の自動車メーカー各社の発表を受けて新車が本体験版に登場するとともにプレイ可能となるとのこと。

9月20日から開催している東京ゲームショウでは「グランツーリスモ 5 プロローグ」の試遊が可能となっている

　これら第40回東京モーターショー2007と連動した施策を「Project GT5」活動の第1弾という位置づけで、今後も2008年度発売予定の「グランツーリスモ5」へとつながる継続的なコミュニケーション活動へと展開していくとしている。

　ちなみに「グランツーリスモ 5 プロローグ体験版」には新型GT-Rを含む7種類の新車が登場。鈴鹿サーキット（フルコース）を収録し、タイムアタックモードなどが実装されている。必要HDD容量は700MB以上。
